Hydrite thiosulfates, read the same way everywhere.

ATS=™ ships from Terre Haute, Waterloo and Sacramento Ag Products, Thio 25-17™ from Terre Haute, and MTS from Sacramento Ag Products. Inline means the probe sits in the reaction line, the tank or the load-out line itself. Spectrally X1 INLINE reads the thiosulfate there about every 5 seconds, with the same analyzer, software and record at each plant.

One spectrum from the liquor
Four values from one spectrum.
  1. Thiosulfate concentrationThe figure each thiosulfate grade is sold on. A Raman-active oxyanion in a weakly scattering water matrix; the feasibility study sets the model and its accuracy.
  2. Solution homogeneityA reading in the tank recirculation loop that holds steady over a full turnover indicates a mixed volume.
  3. SulfateIts own band at 976 cm⁻¹ sits close to the thiosulfate bands and tracks the oxidized side of the liquor.
  4. Sulfur figureThe S on each label follows the thiosulfate reading; nitrogen, K₂O and magnesium stay on your lab method.
Iodometric titration typically answers in 20 to 30 minutes. The analyzer returns a reading about every 5 seconds, and titration stays on as the periodic reference.

01The portfolio

Liquid sulfur products with strong Raman bands.

Each liquor ships on its own analysis. The thiosulfate grades share an oxyanion with strong Raman bands.

03One measurement layer

The same analyzer, software and record at each plant.

1

One analyzer family

Spectrally X1 INLINE at each plant, two measurement points per cabinet as standard.

2

Models that travel

A model built on ATS=™ at one plant is the starting point at the next, and the feasibility study checks how far it carries on each liquor.

3

One record format

Values, spectra and alarms stored the same way at every site, exportable as CSV, PDF or raw data.

04New capacity

A new line is the simplest place to add a measurement point.

USDA's 2024 grant for Terre Haute and Waterloo targets added potassium thiosulfate and low-salt fertilizer output by 2027. A process connection is simplest to add while a line is being built, and a model built on the potassium thiosulfate already made at Terre Haute is the starting point at start-up, retrained on the first campaigns.

05The lab loop

The liquor keeps moving while the titration runs.

Titration in the lab
20–30min

Draw a sample, carry it to the lab, titrate, report. The result describes the liquor at the moment of the draw.

Spectrally X1 INLINE
~5s

The probe reads the liquor where it flows and the value reaches the control system over Modbus. With a reading every few seconds, a drift shows while the feed can still be corrected.

Per reading
~5s

From spectrum to a process value. Acquisition time is configurable from 5 to 300 s.

Reagents
0

Routine operation runs without reagents or consumables. Rated laser lifetime is a minimum of two years.

Channels
2

Two measurement points per cabinet as standard, for example the reaction line and the storage tank.

To the line
5.5mo

Typical time from the first workshop to a running installation: 3 to 5.5 months.

06Who this is for

Three desks in Brookfield, one number from every plant.

Sales & business development

A guaranteed analysis with a record behind every load.

Each load leaves with its own time-stamped thiosulfate reading, so a question about a delivery has an answer from the run itself.

  • One record per load, from every plant
  • The same figures read the same way at each site
  • The lab certificate stays as it is

Operations

The same number, read the same way, at each plant.

One analyzer family and one software layer at Terre Haute and Waterloo, and at Sacramento Ag Products with its joint-venture partner, make plant performance comparable on the same figures.

  • Shared alarm limits and PASS/FAIL logic
  • Start-up training for up to 10 operators
  • 3 to 5.5 months from workshop to a running point
Where it fits →
Safety & environmental compliance

Fewer manual draws of process liquor.

Each routine sample from a warm or ammoniacal line is a handling step. A probe in the line takes part of that routine off the operator's round, and the lab samples on its own schedule.

  • Fewer manual sample draws
  • Probe retracted and rinsed automatically
  • Readings and alarms logged with time stamps
