Sold on 12% nitrogen and 26% sulfur, used alone or blended with UAN. The sulfur figure follows the thiosulfate content of the liquor.
Both liquors ship on a guaranteed analysis, 12-0-0-26S and 0-0-25-17S, and the thiosulfate content sets the sulfur figure on each. Inline means the probe sits in the reaction line, the tank or the load-out line itself. Spectrally X1 INLINE sends a thiosulfate reading to your control system about every 5 seconds.
2400 S Erie Canal Rd, with rail service.
Ammonium and potassium thiosulfate, shipped as clear liquors.
SO₂ absorbed into an aqueous base and converted to thiosulfate.
Two measurement points per cabinet as standard, more on request.
Each liquor ships on its own analysis, and each carries an oxyanion with its own bands in a Raman spectrum. Water is a weak Raman scatterer, so the aqueous matrix leaves that signal readable.

A chloride-free, clear and colorless liquid at 12.2 lb/gal and SG 1.46, per Hydrite's product flyer.
Hydrite also makes liquid bisulfites for food, fermentation and industrial customers.

Pressure, temperature and location of each point are checked against the probe rating in the feasibility workshop.
A titration describes the liquor at the moment the sample was drawn. By the time the result is back, the reaction line and the tank have moved on.
Draw a sample from the line or the tank, carry it to the lab, titrate, report. The result describes the liquor at the moment of the draw.
The probe reads the liquor where it flows and the value reaches the control system over Modbus. With a reading every few seconds, a drift in thiosulfate shows while the feed can still be corrected.
From spectrum to a process value. Acquisition time is configurable from 5 to 300 s.
Routine operation runs without reagents or consumables. Rated laser lifetime is a minimum of two years.
Two measurement points per cabinet as standard, for example the reaction outlet and the storage tank.
Typical time from the first workshop to a running installation: 3 to 5.5 months.
Each page of this site answers the question one of them asks first.
With thiosulfate in the control system, the reaction line runs to a number on the screen and every shift hands over on the same trend.
A probe on a load-out line that stays liquid-filled reads thiosulfate while the load runs, and the value is stored with a time stamp for that load.
The Spectrally X1 PROBE is 316L stainless steel with a fused-silica window, rated to 16 bar, −40 to +125 °C and IP67. A retractable module rinses the window on a retract, rinse and return cycle.
A live concentration trend takes part of the sampling routine off the round, so training moves from drawing and titrating a sample to responding to a value.
